This is a troubleshooting guide that should be in every operator’s toolbox or on his/her smartphone or tablet. On 125 pages 31 common defects of PET bottles are analyzed and tips given to solve them. These tips are separated for both single and two-stage stretch blow molding. After each defect an explanation gives more background into why this defect may occur to help with the understanding and further troubleshooting skills. In addition to the 31 defects I also wrote 7 chapters that deal with common issues in either process for further reading and understanding.
You can buy this book as a 4″ x 7″ print version or as as a pdf file that can be loaded onto a smartphone or tablet. In either case it should be handy on the production floor.
